On Tuesday, both the boys’ and girls’ basketball teams were defeated by Bedford. In the girls’ game, Janaya Strickland scored 8 and Cassie Wilson contributed 4 points in a 31-12 loss. In the boys’ game, the team had trouble scoring in the first half, eventually getting down by 26 to the Bears. However, a third quarter surge led by Colt Dooley cut the deficit to 5 points. In the end, the Tigers couldn’t continue the momentum, eventually losing by 9. High scorers for the Tigers were Colt Dooley and Ty Williford, both with 16.

Odyssey’s Visitation Day will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2012, beginning at 1:00 pm. Families will learn more about Odyssey’s academic and extracurricular programs, meet classroom teachers, submit applications and receive additional information about our enrollment lottery. Odyssey will be a participating school in the Artist Trading Card exhibition, “Journey”, to be held this March in Singapore. “Journey” is being organized by the Singapore National Library Board and a group of teacher-curators from Singapore. Artist Trading Cards (ATC) from students at Odyssey will be exhibited along with work from students attending schools in California, New York, Singapore and Ghana.
